No Condensation on Low Temperature Display Cases

The woven aluminum fabric of ECONOFROST night curtains is punched with a precise pattern of tiny holes. Humidity levels in grocery stores are often very high compared to the inside of a refrigeration display case, and condensation can form due to the difference in temperature.

The perforations of Econofrost night covers, which represent 1.5% of the total heat reflective surface area, allow the night curtain fabric to breathe and encourage any moisture in the refrigerated display case to evaporate.

Durable Thermal Curtains Last as Long as the Refrigerated Merchandiser

ECONOFROST refrigeration night curtains are designed to last for over 10 years. Under normal operating conditions the thermal shield can be expected to outlast the refrigeration display case it covers (only misuse can cause the display case shield to deteriorate). Typically, ECONOFROST night covers are a one-time purchase for each display case, as the night curtains will be effective throughout the life of the refrigeration display case.

The woven aluminum fabric of ECONOFROST thermal blinds is tear resistant and is bonded with PVC to give it strength. To prevent the oxidation of perishable goods within the refrigerated display case, a transparent film is applied over the aluminum, and the back of the night cover is coated with a fire retardant. These coatings protect the night curtain against all types of corrosion, and repel dust, dirt, mildew, and mold, elements that can affect the life span of refrigerated case night covers.

Condensation has a tendency to form in the cool environment of a refrigerated display case, which can cause springs and other metal components in display case shields to rust and break down. The spring mechanism and all other components of ECONOFROST night covers are of high industrial gauge and fully rustproof.

Food Safe Grocery Refrigeration Case Covers

Night curtains that are made from plastic or cloth will allow dust and condensation to accumulate in the refrigerated display case, which fosters the growth of mildew and bacteria. Often the material used to make thermal blinds is highly water absorbent and attracts dust, becoming a sanitation problem. The woven aluminum fabric used to create ECONOFROST night covers does not retain dust or moisture. ECONOFROST nightshades ensure a sanitary environment within the refrigeration display case.

ECONOFROST night blinds are simple to clean and easy to maintain for high standards of hygiene. A solution of mild liquid detergent and water is sufficient to remove dirt or spills from the night covers as needed. It’s best to avoid the use of abrasive or powdered cleansers on the refrigeration night blinds.
